Joyce L. Jones, President

Joyce L. Jones, CTR, President of ProRegistry Services has over 25 years of experience in the cancer registry field. Joyce is 1 of the original 29 Commission on Cancer trained Independent Cancer Program Consultants and continues to assist hospitals nationwide in their initial and subsequent CoC surveys. She has been instrumental in providing consultative services to facilities as they strive for excellence in their Commission on Cancer Accreditation.

Ms. Jones experience spans the spectrum of every aspect of cancer registries. Because of her educational focus and hands on approach, Joyce is frequently requested by various state and national organizations for her training expertise. She has personally helped develop registrar training programs, a NAACCR training webinar on Policies and Procedures as well as providing consultation on process improvements that assist hospital executives to maximize their cancer program and registry operations.

She has also worked in support and product development with a software vendor in the CR industry and Technical Specialist within the Standards Division of the Commission on Cancer focusing on data standardization with all standard setters through the Uniform Data Standards Committee and Implementation of FORDS.

Being an active member of National Cancer Registry Association, she has served multiple terms as Chairman of the Continuing Education Committee for NCRA as well as several additional board positions with Cancer Registrar’s of Illinois and was President of CRI (Cancer Registrars of Illinois)
